These "chips" are so amazingly flavorful! I thoroughly enjoyed them and even made a second batch because they were so easy and good.
LEMON KALE CHIPS
1 bunch Kale (washed and cut up)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ teaspoon Sea Salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ teaspoon Sea Salt
- Preheat oven to 300°
- Chop kale into ½ inch pieces
- Place kale in a large bowl
- With hands massage oil, lemon juice and salt into kale
- Place kale on parchment lined baking sheet
- Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes until kale is dark green and crispy
- Cook for about 12 minutes but keep an eye on them so they don't shrivel up too much.
- Cool and serve
I've made these! They're really tasty and it's fun to have an entire bowl of crunchy snack food I can eat with zero guilt.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Amy! I made a Lentil, Veggie, Chorizo dish tonight and sprinkled the kale chips on top. YUM!!
ReplyDeleteOooh! Can you send me the recipe for the Lentil dish?
ReplyDeleteWe are getting some kale this summer from our CSA, so I can't wait to actually know of something to do with it! It sounds great!!
:)
We did this every time we had kale from our CSA. Kale is also great steamed with some apple cider vinegar, too.
