Fun Sterling Discs on a Wire

These are one of my new creations. I have had a sterling silver sheet for quite a while now and I didn't want to waste it without knowing what I really wanted to design. Silver is not cheap these days so I practiced a bit on my copper and brass sheet before I touched the silver sheet. First I hand cut circles and filed them down. Then I added holes and dents of various sizes. I soldered long strips of sterling wire to make the ear wires. I think the long ear wires give it a modern look. Then to finish it off, I oxidized and hand buffed them. And there you have it! Dome-shaped Discs.
